On 23^rd and 24^th of November the second training seminar was held within the framework of activities for the second year under project ” Prevention of sexual exploitation of children in the context of deinstitutionalization” with the financial support of the OAK Foundation and Medicor Foundation. Project partner is the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy in the Republic of Bulgaria. The project covers three areas in Bulgaria, Burgas, Sliven and Plovdiv. The training was attended by totals of 51 representatives of various institutions working with children and young people in the region of Burgas. At the training the project “Handbook for professionals” working on issues of sexual exploitation of children was presented. The commitment of institutions working with children and young people proved to be at a much higher level, which was also confirmed by the significantly larger number of participants compared to the participants in the first year of the project implementation.

There were covered topics such as self-esteem, self-determination, my emotional world, anger and how to deal with anger, skills to solve interpersonal conflicts, knowledge of violence and sexual abuse.

All participants in the training received e- copy of the manual.
