On March 31st and April 1st 2016, at the Centre for Violence- and Criminal Activity Prevention’s conference hall in Burgas, a training seminar took place, conducted by a team of specialists, formed specifically for working with female human traffic victims. At the beginning of March, the Demetra Association has won the National Commission of Combating Traffic in Human Beings’ competition for providing services for human trafficking victims at the Temporary Accommodation Shelter in Burgas. The two-day training’s lecturers were Mr. Miroslav Naumov, senior expert at the NKBTH and Mrs. Anna Nikolova, manager of the SOS – Families at Risk Foundation and the Victims of Human Trafficking shelter in Varna. Co-hosting at the training was Mrs. Rositsa Yaneva, MKBTH secretary in Burgas.
